Oil mist, gas and fume extraction

We provide equipment, accessories and systems for the removal of welding fumes, oil mist and various gases. The extraction can be carried out with suction arms at points or as a more comprehensive system of general ventilation.

Oil mist removal is possible both for individual machines and as a centralised system for several machines at the same time. The installations usually include a blower, filter unit, piping and suction arms.

Welding fumes

We design customer-oriented welding fume extraction systems. Flue gas and welding fume extraction can be carried out by suction arms at each welding point or as a larger unit as general ventilation. The equipment usually consists of a blower, a flue gas filter unit, piping and possibly suction arms.

A cartridge filter unit with a specially designed gravity fed dusty air inlet. In addition, the unit has built-in baffles that protect the cartridges from wear and evenly distribute the air to the filter. The filter is equipped with an efficient filter cleaning system based on compressed air blasting. If the dust load is high, it is recommended to use a polyester filter instead of a paper filter.

There are several models depending on the filter surface area, up to 350.000 m3 air volume. The unit can be equipped with a dust container or a shut-off feeder.

For filtering fine dust and welding fumes in production areas

Iperjet DF series

The Iperjet DF filtration unit is equipped with horizontal cartridge filters suitable for sucking and filtering welding fumes and fine and coarse dusts. The filtration unit consists of a single pre-chamber where most of the dust is separated and dripped into the first collection tank. The air then passes to a labyrinth which, with efficient filters, removes the remaining contaminants before returning the air to the work area.

A high-performance blower, located at the top of the unit, ensures high suction power and low noise levels. The pneumatically adjustable cleaning system achieves very high reliability and filtration performance of the filter cartridges. See brochure for technical specifications.

Mobile filtration unit for welding gas extraction

Welding gas extractor CleanGo 2015

The redesigned CleanGo 2015 is an efficient mobile suction and filtration unit for welding gases and other vapours. In addition to a filtration efficiency of over 99%, activated carbon also filters odours almost completely, thus improving the quality of the working environment.

Not suitable for filtering RST or aluminium welding gases. For this we recommend the Cleaning DF model with Hepa filtration.

Its compact size makes it suitable for applications where space is limited and a powerful filtration unit is required. In addition, by filtering the extracted air back into the working space, significant savings in heating costs can also be achieved in winter. The unit is equipped with a high quality 3 m Dynaflex suction hose. In addition, a flap on the suction arm allows the suction power can be adjusted as required.

For use with machine tools to control oil spills

Noil oil mist extractors

The Noil filtration unit is designed to remove oil mist from work areas and thereby allow the collected oil to be recycled. The unit is used in lathes, threading and machining centres, printing machines, greasing machines, etc. The Noil oil mist collector is not suitable for fume extraction. The BIA USG C-rated cellulose pre-filter and polyester filter ensure 98% average filtration of oil particles. The filtered oil collects in the unit and exits through the oil drain connection, ensuring almost complete oil recovery. The oil outlet pipe must always be connected to the collection container in an airtight manner.

The Noil oil mist separator should be sized according to the machine tool to be connected to it, as follows. The air should be changed at least 200 times per hour, e.g. inside a CNC machine, i.e. a minimum flow of 200 m³/h is required per cubic metre.

If the dimensions of the CNC machine are e.g. 1.2 m x 1.5 m x 2 m, the volume of the machine is 3.6 m³. Therefore, a minimum air flow of 720 m³/h is required (200 m³/h x 3,6 = 720 m³/h). In this case, the Noil 08 would be a suitable Noil oil mist extractor with a maximum air flow of 800 m³/h.

Oilstop oil misters are self-contained devices intended for use in, for example, sucking up oily mists and fumes from machine tools. The oily air is sucked into the device through a pipe with a spiral inside which causes a rotary motion that separates most of the liquid before the filters. The remaining air impurities remain in the filters of the unit.

The Oilstop is available with or without its own blower, which allows it to be connected to another suction unit. Oilstop/M models can also be equipped with HEPA 13 filters.
